How to get SixCamp running in your own LMS: setup, course files, learner management, licensing, and billing. If you cannot find an answer here, email support and we will point you in the right direction.

Getting started

Welcome. This guide covers the SixCamp Enterprise plan: SixCamp training running inside your own LMS. You get full Yellow Belt, Green Belt, and Black Belt courseware, the same curriculum as every SixCamp plan.

After you sign up:

  • You complete signup and pay the one-time setup fee.
  • Your welcome email links our short setup form. Tell us about your LMS and deployment needs.
  • We deliver course files configured for your LMS within 72 hours.
  • You upload the courses and start training.

Setup is collaborative. If anything about your environment is unusual, we work through it with you.

What is included

The same complete SixCamp courseware as every plan, licensed for use inside your organization:

  • Full Yellow Belt, Green Belt, and Black Belt courseware.
  • No content tiers or per-belt pricing. Every learner gets the full curriculum.

Running training in your own LMS keeps your governance, your reporting, and one consistent learner experience alongside your existing programs.

The setup process

Four steps:

  1. Sign up. Submit the one-time setup fee to start the process.
  2. Complete the setup form. The link is in your welcome email, or go straight to the setup form. It asks for basic information about your LMS and deployment needs.
  3. Course configuration. We prepare and deliver course files configured for your LMS within 72 hours.
  4. Launch. Upload the courses to your LMS and start training.

Your LMS and course files

Courses are delivered as SCORM proxy packages configured from your setup form answers. The courses stream from our SCORM server through your LMS, so the only technical requirement is that your LMS is SCORM compliant.

  • Not sure whether your LMS qualifies? If it supports SCORM content, you are set. Email us if you want to confirm before purchasing.
  • You can adjust the content where needed for LMS compatibility. Beyond that, it arrives ready to run.
  • Switching to a different LMS later? Contact us and we will reconfigure your files.

Course updates are automatic. We publish updates to our SCORM server and your learners stream the latest version through your LMS. You never re-download or re-upload anything.

The accompanying data files and project templates (Minitab practice files, FMEA, SIPOC, and other templates) are provided to you along with your course files, for you to distribute to your learners.

Managing your learners

Learner management lives on your side. The purchaser acts as the account manager and handles:

  • Access and login credentials for your LMS.
  • Enrollment and onboarding through your internal processes.
  • Progress tracking and reporting with your LMS tools.
  • Keeping use within your organization's license.

We handle the content side: preparing your files, course updates, licensing, and billing.

Billing and active users

Pricing has three parts:

  • One-time $495 setup fee.
  • $149 per month base subscription.
  • $49 per active user per month.

An active user is a learner currently taking SixCamp training in your LMS. Billing runs in arrears: at the start of each month, we invoice for the prior month, counting every user who was active at any point during that month. The per-user fee is flat, with no minimums and no proration for joining or finishing mid-month.

Counts work on transparent self-reporting: when users are added, or learners finish training and are no longer active, email support@opensourcesixsigma.com with the updated count. Users you report as inactive stop counting from the next monthly invoice.

No long-term contracts or lock-in. Cancel anytime; your final invoice covers the prior month, and your learners keep access to the courses through the end of the period you have paid for.

Licensing in plain terms

The short version of the Enterprise license:

  • Host and deliver the courses to your learners through your own LMS, or a contracted third-party LMS.
  • Modify the content only as needed for LMS compatibility.
  • No copying, reselling, sublicensing, or distributing the content outside your organization.

Read or download the full agreement on our licensing page.

FAQ and getting help

Can we use a contracted third-party LMS instead of hosting our own? Yes, the license covers both.

Is there a long-term contract? No. Enterprise is month to month with no minimums. The only one-time cost is the setup fee.

Do belts cost different amounts? No. Active users get the full curriculum.

How fast do we get our course files? Within 72 hours of completing the setup form.

What happens if we cancel? Your final invoice covers the prior month's activity, and your learners keep access to the courses through the end of the period you have paid for.

How do course updates reach us? Automatically. Courses stream from our server, so your learners always see the latest published version.
